Tire Society 44th Annual Conference: September 23-25

The Tire Society – the scientific professional organization for the tire industry – will be hosting its 44th annual gathering of what is more formally known as the ‘Tire Science and Technology Meeting and Conference’ on September 23 – 25 in Akron, Ohio.

It’s a forum for engineers, scientists, policymakers, students, and advocates to learn about the latest innovations that will drive the tire industry in the years ahead.

Each year a wealth of tire research and development information is shared via technical presentations and discussion panels, and this year’s event (see the full program here) promises to be a standout, with presentations by Bridgestone, Sumitomo, Goodyear, Maxxis, Hyundai, Yokohama, Calspan, and many more. In brief, the presenters will represent more than 20 different organizations, including tire and vehicle companies, universities and non-profit, testing labs, consultants, and suppliers.
