Tire deflation burst testing: Custom configurations [video]

Following our introduction of Te.Sense Bloom, a breakthrough in non-destructive rapid tire deflation testing, we've encountered several special customer requests. Te.Sense Bloom is highly reconfigurable, and we work closely with our customers to make sure special testing needs are accommodated.
Te.Sense Bloom provides a non-destructive alternative that allows controlled, rapid deflation of individually selected tires. As previously described, the device uses a controllable central air ejector valve with a volume and flow capacity that simulates a sudden tire pressure loss event.
In one recent customer case, we were asked if we could eject air via the actual tire sidewall, rather than through a modified test wheel (which is our standard approach). As it turns out, we can indeed!
It took a little ingenuity - special flex couplers and bonding agents required, along with a few rounds of experimentation - but we arrived at a solution that works. At least for a high-profile tire, as was the requested setup for this particular test.

Track testing was also successful. But we can't show you this at the moment due to customer confidentiality! Perhaps at a later date . . .
